Abstract
The article is dedicated to one of the most difficult topics of translation theory, i.e. to translation of English puns. Despite the fact that this problem becomes a subject of many studies, it is not so easy to find good examples capable to illustrate the theoretical material. In this work the English jokes containing puns are shown together with their translation, and also an analysis of this practical material is condudted.
