THE SEMANTICS OF CHINESE HIEROGLYPHIC PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS KOSA SONO IN THE KOREAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article deals with the unique phenomena in modern Korean language – hieroglyphic phraseology. It shows the analysis of idioms through their structure and semantics. Starting from 14th century, unique Korean writing Hangul defined the boundaries of language units. In the modern Korean language, there are enough koso sono phrases or Chinese hieroglyphic idioms that need lexicographic research, as well as in system analysis, using contrastive, linguistic-cultural and cognitive approaches.
