Abstract
This paper investigates the features of narratology in the “nivola” by Miguel de Unamuno "Mist". The analysis suggests that the investigated experiments with narrative form are an expression of “agonic” philosophy of the Spanish writer, who is considered to be one of the precursors of European existentialism

Keywords: agonic philosophy, creator, freedom of will, narratology, novel
