TRANSLATOR COMPETENCIES: BEYOND THE DICHOTOMY OF GENERALIST VS. SPECIALIST

Abstract
The article examines translator competences, which are often discussed within a dichotomous opposition of competencies of generalist translator vs. specialist translator, as well as proposes a new model to analyze these competencies.
