Abstract
In this article the many-sided biblical theme which has found reflection in poetry of Tryapkin (1918 – 1999) is considered, the Russian and Soviet poet, the winner of the State award of Russia of 1992, whose creative heritage is estimated now as the phenomenon in domestic literature. This subject is reflection of the general interest of the poet to world history and culture.
