Abstract
The article dwells upon the cycle of poems ‘Autumn Love’ by A. A. Blok in the context of the poet’s appeal to the character of Jesus Christ. In the course of the analysis the change in the cultural wealth of the lyrical hero is shown in detail, i. e. a particular moment comes when he starts thinking about the meaning of life, tries to find inner peace and makes his choice between earthy and heavenly values.
