Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the language picture of the world. Discusses the question of the universality and uniqueness of the national pictures of the world. The combination of these properties causes on the one hand the possibility of mutual understanding between representatives of different cultures and provides their cultural identity. The specifics of the Russian perception of the world shown on the example of a unique concept "maybe".
