Abstract
This article examines the origin of staroslavyanskom their emerging language to the present day, the conditions for the existence of staroslavyanskom in the Russian language. It is also noted a number of features that distinguish Slavyansky from words of Russian origin. Discusses the functioning of staroslavyanskom in the works of Mikhail Lermontov.
