Abstract
The article is dedicated to the analysis of the usage peculiarities of the setexpressions with the color name rot in the phraseological world view of the German language. The spheres of the use of the set expressions containing the color name rot are under investigation in the article (e.g. household, historic, politic, economic, spiritual spheres). All the usage areas of the analyzed phraseological units are illustrated with the help of the examples taken from the phraseological dictionaries of the German language including the on-line ones.
