Abstract
The article is dedicated to the investigation of numerological allusion in Dan Brown's novel "Inferno". The issues investigated are the characteristics of the numerological allusions, their types and functions in the text of the novel. The conclusion is that the numerological allusions are sustained in the text, fulfilling text-forming function, password function and recognition function.
