Abstract
Modern society, especially the younger generation has a low level of knowledge linguocultural units, which seem to be well-known to all native speakers. To overcome it, the article suggests concept of linguocultural literacy that can be a basis for creation of a dictionary, which lexicographical units interpretation contains a minimal background information and focused on communication.
