Abstract
The article deals with the problem of how the esthetics of surrealism and absurdism influences L. Petrushevskaya’s and Yu. Norstein esthetics in their cartoon The Tale of Tales, determines the difference between the artists in understanding the meaning of “dream” as a special state of consciousness, the difference in the esthetics of the Russian artists and their Spanish counterpart is interpreted in Nietzsche’s terms (the Dionysian and the Apollonian in Art).
