THE SIGN COMPONENT “SPEECH – SILENCE – SONG” IN THE PHILOSOPHICAL AND ESTHETICAL CODE OF PETRUSHEVSKAYA’S – MAILER’S

Abstract
The article juxtaposes the concept of the movie The Executioner’s Song, the archetype of the wandering hero and its reflection in the folk conscience with the position of the folk songs in the philosophical and esthetical system of L. Petrushevskaya; emphasizes propinquity in interpreting the series “speech – silence – song”; analyzes the common features of specific aspects the Russian and American folk cultures have.
