Abstract
The article juxtaposes the concept of the movie Cabaret with the concept of L. Petrushevskaya’s text A Prison Camp for Males. Cabaret; reveals the dialogicality of Petrushevskaya’s attitude to the artistic idea of the movie; the specifics of interpreting the correlation ‘the cultural hero / the trickster’; the influence of the movie on the idea of Petrushevskaya’s most uninterpretable work.
