Abstract
The article examines the goals and challenges facing modern education.
The emphasis shifted from the formation of learning competences.
There is refocusing it on student-centered approach is the opposite of impersonal knowledge-oriented pedagogy. Knowledge is not a goal, but as a way, a means of personal development.
