Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the language picture of the world of the writer, his idiolect. The study of art-speech system using field method allows to describe a holistic and structured fragment of the language picture of the world. The study of the fragment of the language picture of the world of the writer is based on the objective description of lexical units which explicits the category of time in its concrete realization of the nature of time. This category, which along with the universal space (in unity - the chronotope), is a mandatory component of the picture of the world. The relevance and fruitfulness of the spatial-temporal issues recognized.
